Our students range in age from six to sixties and include all levels, from those who have never played a note before to symphonic players wanting to learn new styles. We cover a basic repertoire of music from the Irish and Scottish music traditions, with the goal of helping all students reach their musical aspirations. Teaching styles are tailored to each student. Because Celtic music is an oral tradition, we encourage learning tunes by ear. In addition, sheet music is provided for each tune, as a reference.
